Prefect Andrei Nistor stated that Brățării Street in Sector 3 will be closed on the high-risk section due to the major danger posed by the gas main located under the asphalt. The decision is set to be formalized in a committee, and the measure could come into effect on Wednesday. Nistor emphasized that heavy traffic and the weight of vehicles increase the risks of the pipeline cracking, which could lead to an explosion.

The affected section is located between Fągetului and Gura Putnei streets, where urgent repair work is required. The initial costs will be borne by the Sector 3 City Hall, and responsibility will be determined later. The prefect mentioned that the infrastructure works were carried out without authorization, which complicates the situation. A report to the prosecutor's office will be made after the danger has been eliminated, and the primary responsibility lies with the local administration.
