CNAIR closes traffic on the A3 for connection works with the new section toward Chiribiș

Traffic on the A3 motorway will be closed in both directions starting Thursday, September 17, on the section between the Nușfalău interchange and Suplacu de Barcău, in Sălaj County. The measure is necessary for works to connect the motorway sections and complete the Suplacu de Barcău–Chiribiș subsection.

The restriction applies between kilometer markers 66+500 and 79+854. During this period, traffic between Marghita and Nușfalău will be diverted onto DN 19B, along the route Marghita–Satu Barbă–Suplacu de Barcău–Ip–Nușfalău. CNAIR will install advance warning signs on DN 19B and DN 1H, before the intersections where the diversion will take place.

The works include connecting a ramp that will cross over the A3 at DN 19B and linking the Suplacu de Barcău–Chiribiș subsection with the Suplacu de Barcău–Nădășelu section. On DN 19B, between kilometer markers 42+250 and 42+750, traffic will be restricted on the right-hand side and will travel on one lane in each direction, each three meters wide.

Access to and from the locality of Marca, via DC 93, will be provided through the newly built ramp included in the project.
