At the Coalition for Will summit in London, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of pressure on Russia to stop the conflict, stating that removing Russian oil and gas from the global market is essential. British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer stated that the sanctions imposed on the largest Russian oil companies are part of the strategy to reduce funding for Russia's war machine.
Zelensky mentioned that Ukraine needs support for rebuilding its energy infrastructure and discussed the acquisition of Patriot air defense systems. He also called for an expansion of long-range attack capabilities and emphasized that Russia has no intention of negotiating in good faith, demanding a willingness to negotiate from Moscow. Zelensky reaffirmed that issues related to territorial integrity should not reward the aggressor and insisted on the need to prepare security guarantees for the future.
