The police stated that six people are still reported missing, and the identity of 40 corpses has not been established. During the process of removing the fallen bamboo scaffolding, skeletal remains were discovered, and authorities are investigating whether they are human or animal.

The police also uncovered 21 cases of fire-related fraud, and authorities will introduce stricter rules for safety on construction sites. So far, 371 construction sites have been inspected, with numerous warnings and legal procedures initiated.
