The flames, which engulfed several towers of the complex, are now under control, but not completely extinguished. Three men aged between 52 and 68 have been arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide. Firefighters and rescue teams, consisting of 26 teams, continue to investigate the lower floors of the buildings. The Hong Kong government has announced measures to gradually eliminate the use of bamboo scaffolding, citing safety reasons. China's President, Xi Jinping, has called for sustained efforts to extinguish the fire and reduce the number of casualties.
