A recent survey published by BFMTV shows that the French far-right, represented by Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, is increasing its lead in voting intentions for the 2027 presidential elections, each having over a third of the votes in the hypothetical first round. The National Rally (RN) party is benefiting from an influx of voters from other conservative options. Although Le Pen is a candidate, she has a temporary ban on running due to a conviction for illegal financing, and if this ban is maintained, Bardella will take over the candidacy. In contrast, former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, a supporter of Macron, has lost support, reaching 15.5%, after calling for the president's resignation. Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Raphael Gluksman recorded slight increases, with 13% and 11% respectively, while Bruno Retailleau dropped to 8%.
