Shares of Tesla soared nearly 10% on Monday after the company premiered its autonomous robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, last weekend. The driverless Model Y was made available to a limited number of passengers on an invitation-only basis.

Passengers paid a flat fee of $4.20 for each ride, according to a post by Musk on the X network.
