Swedish Army officers have arrived in Greenland, announcing that they will participate in the preparation of military maneuvers at the request of Denmark. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson emphasized that they are part of a group of allied countries preparing for the Danish exercise called Operation Arctic Endurance. Additionally, an advanced commando has been sent by the Danish government to organize the mobilization of additional troops in Greenland.

The Danish Ministry of Defense stated that the purpose of these maneuvers is to improve operational capacity in Arctic conditions and to strengthen the Alliance's presence in the region, considering the tensions with the USA. Planned activities include the protection of essential facilities and the deployment of military missions. At the same time, Danish and Greenlandic officials met with the U.S. Secretary of State to discuss the security of Greenland in the face of external threats.
