Anti-corruption officers in the Republic of Moldova have carried out searches related to voter corruption in the context of the presidential elections and the EU accession referendum.

The raids were carried out in a case file targeting voter bribery in the run-up to the presidential elections and referendum on October 20, 2024. The authorities announced that cell phones, money and documents were seized from those involved. There have also been warnings of possible Russian involvement in influencing the vote.
