Russia has captured the town of Andriivka, extending its front line into the Sumy region

Russian forces have extended the frontline in the Sumy region, capturing the village of Andriivka and moving closer to the town of Sumy, which is now within drone range. Ukraine carried out attacks on Russian bombers and the Kerci Bridge. Russian and Ukrainian delegations have met for peace talks, but Russia is making peace conditional on ceding territory. Russian shelling has caused civilian casualties, and the authorities in Sumy ordered the evacuation of 11 villages because of the escalating attacks. Analysts warn Russia is aiming for total control of the region.
