The Russian government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, plans to import gasoline from China, South Korea, and Singapore to compensate for the fuel deficit resulting from Ukrainian attacks on refineries. Import taxes will be eliminated for certain checkpoints, and the state will compensate for price differences. Three companies will be involved in this process, and the government will lift the ban on an additive used in refineries, despite its risks. Currently, 38% of Russia's refining capacity is inactive, mostly due to drone attacks.
