On the night of September 28, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukrainian cities, using hundreds of drones and missiles that destroyed residential buildings and caused injuries. In Kyiv, the mayor reported six injuries, while in Zaporizhzhia, four people were injured. Ukrainian authorities accuse Russia of trying to connect the Energodar nuclear power plant to the Russian grid, despite the risks. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that it shot down 41 Ukrainian drones during the attack. Poland has mobilized its air force preventively, following Russian air incursions.
