An article in 'Razvedcik' magazine, published by SVR, denounces ideological censorship in the EU, using the Romanian presidential elections as an example. The author, Aleksei Gromyko, accuses the EU leadership of intimidating dissidents and claims that Ursula von der Leyen has called for pro pro-Russian candidate Călin Georgescu to be banned from the elections. The article suggests that this censorship will spread, targeting Hungary in particular as a bastion of European conservatism.
