The court has issued a restraining order against Dolly Parton’s former bodyguard

A court has issued a temporary restraining order against Seaver and his security company, Squadron Augmented Protection Services, following allegations of threats against singer Dolly Parton’s estate and business empire. The complaint was filed by She’s Alive, the entity established to manage and protect the artist’s assets.

According to court documents, the heirs accused Seaver of sending increasingly threatening messages in recent weeks and allegedly demanding money. The court took into account his alleged access to weapons, experience with violence and intention to retaliate, describing the communications as concerning.

The order prohibits Seaver and his company from entering She’s Alive properties, communicating with the entity’s employees or business partners, or coming within 1,000 feet of them. The measure also seeks to prevent interference in the company’s business relationships.

She’s Alive is run by Danny Nozell, Dolly Parton’s longtime manager. A hearing in the case is scheduled for October 7.
