Poland has canceled the purchase of 32 Black Hawk helicopters, prioritizing drones, tanks and communications instead, according to the arms agency

Poland's armaments agency has canceled the purchase of 32 Lockheed Martin S-70i Black Hawk Lockheed Martin S-70i helicopters, suggesting replacing them with equipment such as drones and tanks. Agency spokesman Grzegorz Polak emphasized the need for adjustments according to the geopolitical situation. The decision was criticized by former defence minister Mariusz Blaszczak, who called it a "disgrace". Poland recently signed a contract with the US for 96 AH-64E Apache AH-64E helicopters, which will improve combat capabilities.
