The Netherlands has banned far-right Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich from the Netherlands because of their support for settlement expansion in the Palestinian territories and the continuing conflict in Gaza. The Dutch foreign minister called on the EU to partially suspend the trade agreement with Israel. Ben-Gvir denounced the move as a form of anti-Semitism as the Dutch government faces mounting pressure to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. PM Netanyahu faces arrest warrants from the ICC for crimes against humanity.
