The prosecutor in Monaco stated that an investigation has been opened for attempted murder, after the hypothesis of a terrorist attack was ruled out. The explosion occurred on Monday evening when a suspect left a bomb in the lobby of a residential building, causing a "powerful explosion." The victims, identified as Vadym Iermolaiev, his wife, and their 13-year-old child, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Iermolaiev, originally from Dnipro, Ukraine, is an influential real estate developer in the region. Authorities continue the search to identify the suspect.
