Vadim Ermolaev accuses the Ukrainian Intelligence Service of attempted assassination

The Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev accused the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Intelligence Service of involvement in the assassination attempt that targeted him and his family, after an explosion in Monaco.

In a letter published by his lawyers, Ermolaev claims that the evidence suggests the direct involvement of officers from the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Although he has been under sanctions since December 2023, he expressed gratitude to President Zelensky for the attention given to his case.

Ermolaev has called for an independent investigation and protection for his family. The investigation has led to the detention of two suspects, including an active officer of the Defense Intelligence Services, who cooperated with the authorities.
