French President Emmanuel Macron stated, during a visit to Mexico, that the stolen jewelry from the Louvre Museum, valued at 88 million euros, will be recovered and the thieves will be brought to justice. He mentioned that four suspects have already been apprehended. Macron emphasized that the incident, which shocked public opinion, provides an opportunity to strengthen the museum's security. Following the robbery on October 19, which included jewelry of invaluable heritage value, the Court of Auditors criticized the museum's management for neglecting security. The President announced a plan to review security, including the creation of a new entrance and a dedicated room for the Mona Lisa. Emergency measures were also proposed, such as installing additional surveillance cameras and appointing a safety coordinator.
