Starting in September, Lithuania will launch a training program for the general public and students to build and operate drones. The defense ministry has announced the opening of three training centers, with plans to expand to nine centers in the coming years. The goal is for 15,500 adults and 7,000 children to acquire drone skills by 2028. The project, with an investment of more than €3.3 million, aligns with Lithuania's efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities and defense industry, similar to Ukraine's use of drones in the context of the conflict with Russia.
