In the Combined Resolve military exercise held in Germany, American troops faced Ukrainian drone operators from Brigade 412, who demonstrated a significant advantage in the use of drones. The exercise, conducted in April and May, highlighted the unpreparedness of American forces against Ukrainian tactics, which were able to quickly detect American vehicles and simulate effective attacks.
Although no real ammunition was used, the simulations showed that American troops lacked the necessary skills to effectively manage drones in combat conditions. Following the exercise, the Americans learned to improve camouflage and the use of electronic warfare systems.
General Alexus Grynkewich emphasized the importance of these exercises to learn from Ukrainian experiences, considering them essential for adapting to modern warfare. The exercise involved approximately 3,500 American soldiers and was an opportunity to experience realistic combat conditions.
