Lindsey Graham says Donald Trump is prepared to impose tough sanctions on the Russian economy if Vladimir Putin refuses to meet with Volodimir Zelensky to discuss ending the war in Ukraine. Graham supports a bipartisan bill, backed by 85 senators, that would impose tariffs of 500% on Russian energy exports to China and India. Although it does not have the explicit backing of the White House, Graham believes the legislation could be debated in Congress in September.
