President Donald Trump stated that he could end the war between Russia and Ukraine in a short period, suggesting that Vladimir Putin would be interested in resuming economic relations with the United States. In an interview with CBS News, Trump claimed that peace could be achieved in a few months, relying on Moscow's desire to cooperate economically with Washington.
He emphasized that during his term, he managed to resolve eight conflicts through economic pressure, but he treated the war in Ukraine differently, considering that trade relations with Russia are limited. Trump also stated that he does not intend to allow the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine for attacks on Russian territory, although he left open the possibility of reconsidering in the future.
