The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed support for Donald Trump's proposal to freeze the war between Ukraine and Russia at the current front lines, considering it a "good compromise." However, he acknowledged that Russia, through its foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, rejected this idea, maintaining its maximalist position. Trump suggested that negotiations could continue later, but he was cautious regarding a meeting with Putin, after the previous experience in Alaska.
