Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has launched a scathing attack on the European Union, accusing Western leaders of using Goebbelsian propaganda to discredit Russia and mask domestic problems. Lavrov claimed that Europe is in an anti-Russian frenzy and that European leaders are manipulating citizens to make them perceive Russia as an eternal enemy. He also criticized provocative statements by officials in Germany, France and the UK, which contribute to escalating tensions in the context of the war in Ukraine.
