The National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced a decrease in the three-month ROBOR index, which reached 6.34% per year, compared to 6.35% in the previous meeting. At the beginning of the year, this index was 5.92% per year. Additionally, the six-month ROBOR index decreased to 6.48% per year, down from 6.50%, and the twelve-month index fell to 6.68%, down from 6.70%. Regarding the reference index for consumer loans (IRCC), it was set at 6.06% per year, calculated as the arithmetic mean of the daily interest rates from interbank transactions in the second quarter of 2025, marking the highest level recorded so far.
