In a statement made on Friday, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer emphasized the importance of fighting for the fundamental values of the United Kingdom, referring to the march Unite the Kingdom as a manifestation of hate and division. Starmer promised to block individuals coming to the UK to incite violence, warning that those who cause chaos on the streets will face the full force of the law. Among the 11 blocked from entering the UK is anti-Islam influencer Valentina Gomez, who participated in a previous march.

In the context of the scheduled protests, including a pro-Palestinian demonstration, authorities have imposed strict security measures, including the use of facial recognition cameras and drones to identify suspects. The Director of Public Prosecutions emphasized that the measures are not aimed at restricting freedom of expression, but at preventing hate crime and protecting the public. Any violation of the law will be prosecuted, especially in cases of incitement to hatred through slogans or placards.
