Iran claims that Ukraine has become a "legitimate target" because it supports Israel with drones.

The head of the National Security Commission in the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, stated that Ukraine, by providing drones to Israel, has engaged in war and has turned its territory into a "legitimate target" for Iran, according to the UN Charter.

This statement comes in the context in which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Reza Pahlavi, the son of the former Shah of Iran, discussing the situation in Iran and operations against the regime in Tehran. In their joint appearance, the leader from Kiev mentioned that Ukraine has sent teams of experts to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia to share their experience regarding the downing of Iranian Shahed drones.

Zelensky emphasized the losses suffered by the Iranian leadership and called for greater protection for the Iranian people, wishing for a free Iran that does not collaborate with Russia.
