Georgia Aldridge, an influencer with over 32,000 followers on Instagram and a specialist in social media marketing, has been accused of selling counterfeit luxury products through a dropshipping business. Among the items sold are products presented as being from renowned brands such as Fendi, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Dior, some of which were purchased from the Chinese platform AliExpress.

In January 2025, the court ruled that Georgia and her company had violated trademark rights, ordering her to pay damages of £213,000, equivalent to approximately €249,000. The sale of counterfeit products was halted 18 months before the court's decision, after the brands' lawyers obtained a ruling against her. The brands' lawyer argued that Georgia's activities harmed their reputation and led to significant profit losses. The court also established that the products sold included both high-quality counterfeits, known as 'superfakes', as well as lower-quality products, for which the brands were entitled to licensing fees.
