A Romanian influencer and her partner have been convicted in France for stealing a bracelet worth 36,500 euros from a Louis Vuitton store.

A Romanian influencer, Andra A., aged 30, and her partner, Ștefan A., aged 33, were convicted by the Court in Grasse for stealing a white gold bracelet worth 36,500 euros from a Louis Vuitton store in Cannes. The incident occurred when a display case was left open, and the two took advantage of the opportunity, hiding the jewelry under a mobile phone.

They were quickly identified after the store staff raised the alarm. Two days later, they were caught by the police during a routine operation, with Andra wearing the stolen bracelet.

Following a search of their hotel, authorities discovered luxury items and 2,830 euros in cash. The judge noted the professionalism of the theft, while the influencer denied any intention to steal.

The court sentenced them to 10 and 12 months in prison with electronic monitoring, a fine of 5,000 euros each, and a ban on entering the Alpes-Maritimes department for five years. The couple resides in Toulouse.
