The fire broke out after the crash of a Ukrainian drone, shot down by Russian air defense, rapidly spreading over an area of more than 17 hectares. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations mobilized 27 fire trucks and over 100 firefighters, including a helicopter and a plane, to extinguish the flames. 23 tourists were urgently evacuated due to the fire, which occurred near a palace attributed to Vladimir Putin by the opposition figure Alexei Navalny.
