A Ukrainian drone attack damaged a dam in the Russian city of Belgorod, located near the border with Ukraine, according to Russian authorities. The water level in the artificial lake has dropped by 1 meter, and the regional governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, warned residents in lower areas to be cautious. The commander of the Ukrainian drone forces, Robert Brovdi, confirmed the attack, mentioning that the river water flooded Russian positions near the village of Grafovka. This situation has raised concerns, considering that international humanitarian law prohibits attacks on dams that can cause major destruction. In the past, Russian troops destroyed the Kakhovka dam, causing devastating floods in southern Ukraine.
