A report by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial authority says the flash floods killed 11 people, including four children and three women, and injured six others. The worst-hit areas are the Swat valley, where ten of the victims were found, and 56 houses were damaged, including six completely destroyed. The National Meteorological Service is warning of an increased risk of heavy rain and flash floods in the coming days, after 24 deaths have already been reported in May due to violent storms.
