In the context of the Conversus operation, Europol confiscated over 1,500 gas and alarm pistols, and recently, a new action targeted 500 fake firearms, which, once converted, become lethal. These weapons are accessible and popular among criminals, and their conversion is easy, facilitating illegal trafficking. Although some countries have begun to regulate these weapons more strictly, the problem persists, and criminals continue to exploit legal discrepancies.
