Emmanuel Macron has arrived in India for a three-day official visit, aiming to strengthen the strategic partnership between France and India. This visit, the fourth since 2017, coincides with India's intention to order 114 Rafale fighter jets, a contract estimated at 30 billion euros.
Macron will participate in a summit dedicated to artificial intelligence in New Delhi, after visiting Mumbai. The Elysée Palace has expressed optimism regarding the completion of the contract, which will include aircraft largely manufactured in India. Additionally, Macron will inaugurate an assembly line for Airbus helicopters and will promote the diversification of economic partnerships.
