Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced a proposal to ban social media for children under 15, arguing that it affects the social development of young people. Parents will be able to allow access from the age of 13. In Romania, the Senate has adopted a law that requires parental consent for minors under 16 for online services, with the exception of authorized educational platforms. The Romanian law is set to be debated by the Chamber of Deputies.
