The Czech executive has decided to ban the use of artificial intelligence technologies developed by Chinese company DeepSeek in all public institutions, citing security risks. Prime Minister Petr Fiala emphasized that DeepSeek's compliance with Chinese law could allow the Chinese state access to data stored on Chinese servers. The Czech Republic considers China a major cyber threat, comparable to Russia, and has accused Beijing of cyber attacks against government networks.
