The Five Eyes intelligence alliance warns that advanced artificial intelligence models capable of launching complex and large-scale cyberattacks will become available in just a few months. According to intelligence agencies from the USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, these systems will lower barriers for malicious actors and will increase the speed and sophistication of attacks, putting pressure on the defense capabilities of governments and companies.

In this context, Western authorities are calling for urgent measures to strengthen cybersecurity.

Concerns have been amplified by the capabilities of models developed by Anthropic, which are considered extremely effective in identifying cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Five Eyes recommends modernizing outdated systems, patching vulnerable software, and limiting access to critical infrastructures. Although artificial intelligence can be used by attackers to act faster and more efficiently, the same technology can also contribute to cybersecurity defense.

Experts point out that the accelerated pace of AI development exceeds the current regulatory capacity, and the lack of a clear oversight framework increases risks for organizations and the economy.
