The new French government, led by Sebastian Lecornu, is facing two motions of censure filed by the far-right and left parties. These will be discussed and voted on in the plenary session of the National Assembly, and their fate depends on the vote of the socialists. Lecornu will deliver a general policy speech on Tuesday, presenting the austerity budget, in a context of unprecedented political deadlock in France.
