During a record turnout voting day, bomb alarms occurred at polling stations in Pécs and Miskolc. In Miskolc, voting was halted at the Gárdonyi Géza Cultural Center after an automated voice threatened to detonate an explosive device. The police responded quickly, and a search conducted with the help of dogs confirmed that there were no explosives, allowing voting to resume after a twenty-minute break. In Pécs, another alarm was triggered at a clinic, where a phone threat announced the presence of a bomb. Police officers checked the location and found that the threat was false, so voting could continue. At the same time, in Tarnazsadány, Heves County, tensions rose between supporters of the Tisza and Fidesz parties, with accusations of intimidation against Roma voters. At the European level, impressive queues formed at polling stations in cities such as Brussels, Milan, The Hague, and Strasbourg.
