Air China will open its first route from China to Romania on September 4, 2026, according to the BoardingPass.ro platform. The flights will connect Beijing Capital Airport with Henri Coandă - Otopeni Airport, operating three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Passengers will travel on Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which offer comfort and efficiency on long distances. This new route will facilitate not only travel between the two countries but also better connections between Bucharest and Croatia, thus expanding travel options for passengers. This initiative highlights the growing interest of Chinese airlines in connecting with markets in Eastern Europe.
