A 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been announced by American President Donald Trump, which also includes Hezbollah, supported by Iran. At the beginning of the ceasefire, residents of Beirut celebrated with gunfire, while displaced families began to return to southern Lebanon, despite official warnings. However, the Lebanese army reported violations of the ceasefire by Israel, including bombings of villages in the south. Hezbollah stated that it carried out attacks up to 10 minutes before the ceasefire began. Trump called on Hezbollah to respect the ceasefire, emphasizing the importance of peace. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam welcomed the announcement, considering the ceasefire an essential requirement. Additionally, Iran and other states in the region expressed support for the cessation of hostilities.
