The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, announced the initiation of an urgent audit to assess the availability of medications on the market in Romania. This measure comes in the context of the medication crisis, which has raised questions about existing stocks.

Additionally, the Ministry of Health is analyzing the possibility of increasing the threshold for the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (ANS), in order to improve stock management and ensure patient access to necessary treatments. The audit will provide a clear picture of the current situation and will help identify the necessary solutions to prevent future crises in medication supply.
