The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, through Minister Diana Buzoianu, has announced the equipping of the National Phytosanitary Authority (ANF) with 22 mobile inspection centers and 30 modern utility vehicles, as part of the 'Prevention and Reduction of Pollution in Rural Areas' Project, funded by the World Bank. These investments, totaling over 1.5 million euros, will allow for intensified field inspections and improved sampling and analysis of samples. The mobile centers are equipped with advanced technology for checking pesticide application equipment, contributing to food safety and environmental protection. The utility vehicles are equipped with specialized devices for collecting soil and plant product samples, ensuring their transport in optimal conditions to the ANF laboratories. These measures aim to increase the efficiency of control and monitoring activities, reducing the risks of pesticide contamination.
