Today, the flow of the Danube at the entrance to the country reached a new historic low of 1,400 m³/s, according to ANAR, and will remain constant throughout the entire week, entering a period of stagnation until August 12. From August 13, an increase in flow to 1,450 m³/s is expected.

At Cernavodă, the level of the Danube has decreased by 2 cm compared to the previous day, reaching -218 cm, the same level as on August 3. The forecast shows that the level will reach -230 cm on August 13, remaining stationary. This means an average decrease of 1-2 cm per day. Authorities have managed to gain time by relocating the station by the Romanian Armed Forces and the dredging operations carried out by AFDJ, ensuring the operation of the CNE Cernavodă under minimum flow conditions.
