The Electoral Office of Bucharest Municipality rejected three candidacies for the Capital City Hall, these being submitted by independents Dumitrică Stan, ASR Marcu Maria, and Popescu Dan Cristian. In contrast, the candidacies of Cătălin Drulă (USR), Ciprian Ciucu (PNL), Daniel Băluță (PSD), George Burcea (POT), Anca Alexandrescu (the "Justice for Bucharest" Alliance), Ana Maria Cicleală (SENS), as well as several independents, including Virgil Alexandru Zidaru and Eugen Teodorovici, have been submitted. The list of candidacies will remain final after the exhaustion of appeal avenues.
