On the day of the first round of the presidential elections in May 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) will increase its staff to 43,000, according to an action plan recently discussed. By then, more than 26,000 MAI employees will be active on a daily basis. A legislative guide has been sent to staff to ensure uniform information, and MAI structures will adapt their working hours to support voters without valid ID. The preparatory activities were completed on schedule without major problems.
