Cătălin Drulă, the USR candidate for the Capital City Hall, submitted his candidacy file on Wednesday to the Electoral Bureau of Bucharest, having over 30,000 signatures behind him. He thanked the Bucharest residents for their support, emphasizing the need for a mayor who works for the people and not for personal interests. Dominic Fritz, the president of USR, stated that Drulă is the right man to bring seriousness and transparency back to local administration. Among Drulă's priorities is the implementation of the referendum initiated by Nicușor Dan for a fair budget and resources for infrastructure. He also aims to modernize public transport and improve urban mobility. At the submission of his candidacy, Drulă was accompanied by party members and supporters who actively participated in gathering signatures.
