<p>Călin Georgescu arrived at the police station on the day when George Simion and Anamaria Gavrilă are due to announce who will run in May's presidential elections. Under judicial control, Georgescu avoided answering journalists' questions about who he is supporting. The candidate nomination procedure is nearing its end and the Central Electoral Bureau has so far validated 12 candidates. The appeal against Gavrilă's candidacy, which involves allegations of electoral fraud, will be examined by the Constitutional Court. The electoral campaign starts on April 4.
