Over 270,000 vulnerable beneficiaries have received the first vouchers for support in paying energy bills, according to the Minister of Labor.

The Minister of Labor, Petre-Florin Manole, announced that the first energy vouchers have been paid for 274,541 beneficiaries, totaling 27.385 million lei. These vouchers can be used to pay energy bills for the months of July and August. The application evaluation process will continue until September 27, and support will be provided until March 2026. The vouchers are specific and cannot be used for other consumption locations.
